At a glance:

The Sox were 1-2 vs. the Tigers at Detroit in a series that opened last Thursday. It was supposed to be four games, but Saturday was rained out. Eloy Jimenez hit a 2-run homer vs. the Tigers last Thursday and was 0-for-9 in the next two games at Comerica Park. Jimenez was placed on the Bereavement List Monday and missed the White Sox's three-game series at Baltimore. The rookie left fielder is expected to be back in the lineup Friday night. Rodon started vs. the Tigers at Detroit last Friday. He allowed 1 run in 6 innings to earn the win. Norris pitched 5 scoreless innings vs. the Sox on Sunday and picked up his first major-league win since Sept. 28, 2017.
