America's media is not in danger

I read your editorial about the Reporters Without Borders report and what I see is a mainstream news media again using fear to further polarize this country.

Never fear, the media in this country is no danger, especially from Donald Trump or anyone else who is a temporarily resident of the White House.

The Bill of Rights protects the media as much as it protects the NRA and anyone who speaks against the government, and to say that a report's findings for the U.S. is "disturbing" is grossly exaggerated. Journalists in this country are nowhere nearly as in danger as in the Middle East or the Third World. Brush up on the activities of the regimes in Germany and the USSR in the first half of the 20th century and you will see what disturbing is.
