Shahid Afridi Foundation (SAF) host Thriving fundraiser Dinner in Chicago.
World's well-known Charitable organization, Shahid Afridi Foundation (SAF) held a Successful and Thriving fundraiser Dinner where the audience was enthralled by Prominent sports celebrities including famous former World No. 1 professional squash player Jahangir Khan, Super Film Star Reema Khan and Shahid Afridi. The event was a great success with about 350 individuals attended the event.
The elegant fundraiser was hosted in the ballroom of Shalimar Banquet on April 19th, 2019 from 7.00 p.m. to 10.30 p.m. The theme of the event was " Education for every daughter " and Together make a difference for all of Humanity across the globe with Hope Not Out.
SAF is a non-profit organization founded in March 2014 by Shahid Afridi which aims to provide healthcare, education and sports facilities in Pakistan and around the world.
It was an evening of mixed shades, the Audience includes all the ages, young youth, elders, the sports people's business men, supporters, families, friends, and well-wishers and many people came from all social related platforms which fluctuated between somber and light, between happiness and smiles. The Program was started After Maghreb Salah. The evening began with Tilawat E Quran. The program included dinner, speeches and past and upcoming project presentations.
Shahid Afridi Foundation (SAF) founder Shahid Afridi said during an interview with local NEWS Paper, "We are committed to changing the lives of people of Pakistan, however whatever we do would be incomplete without your love and support. our foundation works like a family, a family dedicated to providing better healthcare, education and clean drinking water to every member of society and become a ray of hope for children, youngsters and adults alike."
The foundation has initiated many projects, including a hospital in Kohat, water wells and hand pump project in Sindh and KPK, supporting schools, scholarships for students, raising funds for other hospitals and many other projects.
The Shahid Afridi Foundation is honored to announce Jahangir Khan as President of SAF at a ceremony held in Chicago. They also announce Mahmood Qasim will be the Executive Director of North America (USA & Canada).

Chicago Pakistani and Indian community expressed his warm welcome to the team of Shahid Afridi's charity organization. SAF encouraged people to donate generously for the cause. Many community members further reiterated his continuous support towards the cause of humanity. Several community members from Chicago community promise to SAF they will support in Future.
Shahid Afridi said SAF had a mission to enable world understanding, goodwill and peace through the improvement of health, the support of education, eradication of poverty, helping the needy and to see Pakistani people prosper, educated and healthy in the upcoming years in Pakistan, where the people were facing serious social and economic issues. SAF is working in the areas of health, education and drinking water. He further said everywhere I go welcome Citizen of Pakistan our organization to work for betterment of the people. Together we can raise Hope with "Taleem Hogi Aam, Har Beti ke Naam."
After Fundraising Completed dinner was served which was catered through a local restaurant called Karahi Corner Devon Avenue Chicago. Several NEWS network and local press also participated and covering the event.
