Public input sought for Mount Prospect Celebration of Cultures

The village of Mount Prospect this week is holding its kickoff meeting for the second annual Celebration of Cultures. The meeting is set for 6 p.m. Wednesday, April 17, in the Village Hall Community Room, 50 S. Emerson St. The festival will take place Saturday, Sept. 14. Community members who are interested in participating, volunteering or performing or who just want to know more about the event are invited. The village is looking to expand the event with cultural booths, entertainment and restaurant participation. The event is a partnership between the village, the Mount Prospect Park District and the Mount Prospect Chamber of Commerce. For more information, email hkleinst@mountprospect.org
