Fitch, Bray-Parker leading in Wheaton City Council race
Incumbent Suzanne Fitch and newcomer Erica Bray-Parker are holding onto commanding leads in the race for two at-large seats on the Wheaton City Council.
With 51 of 69 precincts reporting, Fitch has collected 3,645 votes in her bid for a second term, unofficial results show. Erica Bray-Parker, a Glenbard North High School civics teacher, follows with 2,627 votes.
Ron Almiron, an attorney, is in third place with 1,944 votes in his second attempt at a council seat.
