Local golfer to compete in Liberty Mutual Insurance Invitational National Finals April 3-7
A local golfer will be among 250 amateurs who will compete in the Liberty Mutual Insurance Invitational National Finals at Pinehurst Golf Resort in Pinehurst, North Carolina on April 3-7.
Jason Aldridge of Lisle qualified for the national event by winning a local Liberty Mutual Insurance Invitational held at the Golf Club of Indiana in Lebanon on Sept. 12, 2018, which supported Edible Indy Foundation.
The finals are the culmination of a series of more than 70 charity golf tournaments around the country in 2018 hosted by Liberty Mutual and local and national charitable organizations that raised more than $9 million for charity.
"These foursomes were among more than 12,000 amateur golfers across the country who generously supported national and local charities by playing in the Liberty Mutual Insurance Invitational," said Nicole Guidara, senior vice president and manager, Enterprise Brand & Communications, Liberty Mutual Insurance. Two-time U.S. Open Champion and World Golf Hall of Famer Curtis Strange, honorary chairman of the Liberty Mutual Insurance Invitational, will interact with players during the four-day tournament.
