Chicago Blackhawks defenseman Dahlstrom signs 2-year extension
The Blackhawks signed defenseman Carl Dahlstrom to a two-year extension with an average annual value of $850,000 on Tuesday.
The Hawks drafted Dahlstrom 51st overall in 2013. He has 6 assists and has averaged 18½ minutes of ice time in 35 games this season.
The 6-foot-4, 231-pound Stockholm, Sweden, native also appeared in 11 games with the Hawks last season.

The Blackhawks will honor Tony and Phil Esposito with One More Shift before Wednesday's game against St. Louis at the United Center.
Tony Esposito is a three-time Vezina trophy winner as the league's top goaltender and was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1988.
Phil Esposito won two Stanley Cup titles with Boston (1970, '72) and played with the Hawks from 1963-67. His 717 career goals rank sixth all-time. A two-time league MVP, Phil was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1984.
