Espresso bar coming to Lisle's Marq on Main

LISLE - An espresso bar featuring Italian street food, Caffe di Moda, is scheduled to open in late April at the Marq on Main development at 1012 Burlington Ave. in downtown Lisle.

The new space will feature two-story ceilings and old-world inspired floor-to-ceiling arched windows.

"We want to people to enjoy real Italian food that is both fresh and convenient, whether they are jumping on the train or settling in for a leisurely espresso, frappé or lunch, " owner Joe Di Braccio said.

Caffe di Mode's menu will include a variety of espresso and coffee drinks, foccace, piadine, Panini, salads, fresh vegetable sides, as well as fresh baked Italian pastries. A grab and go case will offer yogurt, fruit, meats, cheeses and lunch items commuters can grab with their morning coffee. Eventually a Skip-the-Line app will allow customers to order and pay ahead and pick up their items on the run.

Hours for the eatery will be 5:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Marq on Main offers luxury apartments with amenities that include a pergola lounge with barbecue, car-charging stations, a car wash station, outdoor fire table, a pool with a sun deck, controlled access garage and a tech lounge with Wi-Fi.
