Opening reception for Riverwoods art supply business

An opening reception will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday, March 10, for the Brushwood Art Supply Exchange at Brushwood Center at Ryerson Woods, 21850 N. Riverwoods Road, Riverwoods.

Demonstrations will be held and visitors can learn about the new program that provides resources for art-making while diverting waste from landfills.

Artists and craftspeople of all ages and abilities can meet, explore and create at the center, which will feature an open studio and tool library; free or low-cost materials to educators and students; and unique art and craft classes.
