Geneva Garden Club to host 'Spring Fling' luncheon

On Tuesday, April 30, the Geneva Garden Club, celebrating its 90th year, will host its annual luncheon fundraiser, "A Spring Fling."

The luncheon will be held from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Riverside Banquets in Geneva. It will feature a series of raffles, including a purse raffle as well as a wine cellar raffle, and a silent auction. There will be many opportunities to win some prizes.

The luncheon also will feature a fashion show showcasing clothing from local shops and a floral demonstration by the talented Andrew Parravano of Andrew's Garden in Wheaton. Lunch includes a choice of grilled chicken Marsala (gluten-free and dairy-free) or vegetable lasagna and a dessert table.

Tickets for this afternoon event will be $40. Ticket sales end April 19 or when tickets sell out. Last year's luncheon sold out, so don't delay.

The fourth annual "Fancy Plants & Not so Plain Janes" Plant Sale will begin in April. More information will be coming soon.
