The Compass Church opens food pantry in Bolingbrook
The Compass Church Bolingbrook and Loaves & Fishes Community Services have announced the opening of the Compass Church Food Pantry.
The pantry will serve struggling families residing within Bolingbrook ZIP codes 60440 and 60490 and Romeoville ZIP code 60446.
Grocery offerings include shelf-stable items, fresh fruit, vegetables, meat and milk and eggs when available.
The Compass Church is very grateful to be collaborating with Loaves & Fishes to be serving the Bolingbrook community in a very tangible way. Being able to come around families in a wholistic manner is a beautiful way for the church to help serve the community.

A plan to collaborate began after a mobile pantry pilot at The Compass Church clearly illustrated the need for services in the community.
The pantry, located within The Compass Church Bolingbrook campus, offers shopping hours each Wednesday from 6 to 7:30 p.m.
Registration begins at 5:30 p.m. and ends at 7 p.m. A photo ID and a current document verifying resident name and address (such as a utility bill, rental agreement, or doctor's bill) are required. Bringing grocery bags or boxes to transport grocery items is strongly encouraged.

The Compass Church has four locations in the west suburbs. The Bolingbrook campus is located at 151 E. Briarcliff Road. Weekend services are held on Sundays at 9:30 and 11 a.m. in English and 11 a.m. in Spanish.
