No Palatine, Mount Prospect trash collection Wednesday

Due to anticipated extreme cold weather, waste haulers will not collect garbage or recycling items Wednesday in Palatine and Mount Prospect, among other communities, officials said. In Palatine and Mount Prospect, village officials said all regular Wednesday collections will be delayed to Thursday.

Palatine residents are asked to have garbage and recycling at the curb by 6:30 a.m., and garbage bags or carts should not be placed in the street. For any questions, contact the Palatine Environmental Health Division at (847) 359-9042 or Mount Prospect Public Works at (847) 870-5640.
