Prairie Center Welcomes The Queen's Cartoonists

The Al Larson Prairie Center for the Arts is pleased to welcome The Queen's Cartoonists on Saturday, March 2nd at 7:30 p.m.

The Queen's Cartoonists offer a tour-de-force of the Swing Era's zaniest and most creative music, much of which was written for or adapted for classic cartoons. The band's repertoire includes cartoon music from the 1920's all the way to the present day. Whether you're a fan of Looney Tunes, Merry Melodies, The Simpsons, or the old Disney classics, you'll find something to swing along to! This fun and upbeat show combines music, video projection, and comedy to bring these cartoons to life in a way audiences haven't seen before.

The Queen's Cartoonists have brought their performance to venues in over 15 states across the nation. The Queens Courier hailed their performance as "bringing a fresh, yet vintage, sound to the ears of audiences." Queens Law Review dubbed their renditions, "so infectious that they brought instant smiles on the faces of the listeners."
