Rejoice Lutheran Church, 0N377 N Mill Creek in Geneva, offers a variety of programs and ministries for young kids to high school age. To learn more, check out the website at rejoicegeneva.org.

• Club WOW! Sunday school - We are One in the Word - is Rejoice Lutheran Church's Sunday kids' program. It is offered during the 10 a.m. service for children preschool through fifth grade. Kids begin worship with their families in the sanctuary. After worshipping in song with the congregation, they are escorted downstairs for interactive, fun lessons, learning about the God who made them and loves them. The kids will then return to the sanctuary before communion to finish out the church service with their families.

Whether you are a longtime member or a first-time visitor, all children are welcome to join the fun as we grow in Christ through stories, songs, skits, crafts and more!

• "Power Up! - Becoming a Maker of Peace" is the Tuesday Youth Group for third to fifth grade. In January through April, Power Up! dates are the first three Tuesdays of each month from 5:45-7:15 p.m. Dinner will be served at the beginning of each meeting.

The children will learn how to focus their faith in a way that helps them to care for themselves, to care for others, and to be a peaceful presence!

They will learn how to pray and meditate and how to get silly and creative. They will do service projects at home, in the church, and in the community. They will learn how to listen and to be aware of themselves and others.

All children are invited, and friends are always welcome!

• "Matrix" is a program for middle schoolers on Wednesdays from 6:30-8:15 p.m. They are ready to start strong for 2019 with a new series on forgiveness. They will discuss how because God loved them so much, He sent Jesus to provide a way for the debt of their sins to be forgiven and paid in full.

On Jan. 16, "Matrix" will break for fun. Have your child bring pillows and blankets from home for movie night during the regular Matrix time, 6:30-8:15 p.m.

All middle schoolers are always welcome to join. Visit the Matrix page at rejoicegeneva.org/matrix-2018 to learn more about our exciting middle school ministry and to register your child.

• "Summit High School Ministry" is a gathering of high school students in ninth to 12th grade who are on a journey together to discover what it really means to be a follower of Jesus Christ. They invite all students - whether you are a Rejoice member, searching for a church, or attending a different church - to join them on this journey.

Summit meets Thursdays from 6:30-8:45 p.m. downstairs at Rejoice. During this time, the teens will share a meal, spend time hanging out with friends while learning from the Bible and discussing topics that hit close to home.

A few times a year, there will be an opportunity to travel. Whether it's camping at the Dunes by Lake Michigan, a New Year's Eve ski trip to Wisconsin, or heading up to the Wisconsin Dells for the annual winter getaway weekend, it's an opportunity to hang out, have fun and get to know each other better. Additionally, each summer the high school students are given a life-changing opportunity for spiritual growth and to connect deeper with God and each other through the summer weeklong trips.
