Northbrook Chamber Welcomes Village President for Annual State of the Village Address Luncheon

Northbrook Village President Sandy Frum will offer insight and perspective on key issues facing the community at the annual State of the Village Address and Luncheon. Hosted by the Northbrook Chamber of Commerce, the public is welcome to attend the event at the Renaissance Chicago North Shore Hotel, 933 Skokie Blvd. in Northbrook, on Monday, January 28 at 11:45 a.m.

President Frum's interactive presentation will highlight challenges and opportunities receiving attention in 2019, including a discussion of proposed redevelopment projects, the impact of the recent and upcoming elections, the Village's legislative priorities, and anticipated facility improvements for the Police, Fire, and Public Works Departments. She will explain Village resources to keep local businesses up-to-date, including website links to Village Board and Plan Commission meetings, informative memos by Village staff on important topics, and the Northbrook Notify mass notification system. In addition to President Frum, representatives from the Village's Development, Finance, Public Works, and Administration Departments will be on hand for informal conversations.

Sandra Frum was first elected as Northbrook's Village President in April 2009, and subsequently re-elected in 2013 and 2017. A resident of Northbrook for 41 years, she previously served as a Village Trustee for 24 years, chairing the Village's Finance Committee for much of her time in office. In 2014/15 she served as President of the Northwest Municipal Conference.
