Sun City Train Club names raffle winners

The Kishwaukee Valley-Eakin Creek Model Train Club in Sun City-Huntley wishes to thank all who stopped by to visit the holiday train display last month in the in the Prairie Lodge Social Lounge.

Whether you bought raffle tickets, made a donation, purchased a DVD or just stopped by to say hi and relive old but fond memories, club members really appreciate your visit.

One thing is certain; it's always difficult to figure out who has more fun at the display, the kids squealing with delight or the adults enjoying the kids' enthusiasm and excitement. For all this, they thank you.

The 2018 raffle winners were announced on Sunday, Dec. 23. The winners are: Ed Kuhrt, Art Richter, and Dave Friedman.

Each contestant won a remote control Lionel Broadway Limited Lion Chief passenger set. Congratulations to all.

Before signing off for the season, they would like to take this opportunity to remind everyone that the spring open house is scheduled for Sunday, June 9. The club's Sunday operations will begin on Memorial Day weekend.
