Christmas hit-and-run damages 2 parked cars in Schaumburg
Schaumburg police are continuing to investigate a hit-and-run that damaged two cars parked in front of a house on Christmas night.
The crime was reported at about 9:20 p.m. Tuesday after a Pontiac G6 and a Honda CR-V parked end to end along the 500 block of Weathersfield Way were discovered to be damaged.
Schaumburg police Sgt. Christy Lindhurst said a vehicle appeared to have struck the back of the rear parked car, which was then pushed forward into the back of the other.
Though the investigation is continuing, police did not immediately have any witness description of the hit-and-run vehicle to share with the public. There have been no similar or related crimes reported in the area, Lindhurst said.
