Aurora church performs fourth annual live nativity

Faith Lutheran Church in Aurora staged "The Christmas Story," a fourth annual outdoor live nativity presentation Saturday.

Performances by 25 congregants in period costumes were held at 4, 4:45, and 5:30 p.m. The public was invited to the free event.

In addition to retelling the story of Mary, Joseph and baby Jesus, the event featured a fair-trade marketplace, live petting zoo, outdoor fire pits, photos with cast members and hot cocoa and cookies supplied by Boy Scout Troop 508.

The church is at 3000 Liberty St., off Eola Road.

Sunday services are 8, 9:30 and 11 a.m.
