Learn about coyotes during Jan. 19 guided hike

Coyotes are abundant in Kane County, and they captivate the imagination with their yipping in the night and their secretive habits.

Learn about coyotes in Kane County from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 19, at Pingree Grove Forest Preserve, 14N187 Route 20, Hampshire.

On this guided hike, we'll search for coyote tracks, scat and other evidence of their activity. Along the trail, we'll learn about the coyote behavior and their role in ecology.
