Pain and joy

The morning headline on Nov. 27 was "GM layoff announcement sparks outrage-and stock increase." This action will cause a great deal of pain and suffering for many people, at the same time a great deal of joy for many others. The poor working class get the pain and the rich stock owners get the joy.
