Mount Prospect Winter Storm Related Tree Debris Pick-Up

The combination of large quantities of heavy snow and high winds experienced on November 26 resulted in significant damage to trees throughout the Village of Mount Prospect. To assist with clean-up efforts, Mount Prospect Works Department personnel and Village contractors will begin picking up fallen tree limbs and brush on Monday, December 3. Crews will pick-up any storm related tree debris on public parkways.

Mount Prospect residents with private property tree damage should place their tree

debris on the parkway in front of their homes before 7:00 AM on Monday, December 3. If possible, debris should be positioned so that the stump ends of the limbs face the street. Public Works crews will not enter private property to remove privately owned tree debris. No appointments for tree debris removal will be made.

Crews will travel through the Village on a street by street basis. Once one (1) complete pass of the Village has been completed, the service will be discontinued. The Village will post updates of the collection on the Village's website www.mountprospect.org

Residents' cooperation and patience is greatly appreciated. Please call Public Works at 847-870-5640 or publicworksdept@mountprospect.org with questions or for additional information.
