Lavelle Law Wraps Most Successful Food Drive in Firm's History

Schaumburg-based Lavelle Law has wrapped up its annual food drive, which became the most successful in the firm's history. Not only did the event result in the collection of several trucks filled with food and personal care items for the Schaumburg Township Food Pantry, but the event was attended by a number of local and state politicians hoping to draw awareness to the cause.

Senator Laura Murphy (D 28th District); Schaumburg Mayor Al Larson; Diana Nelson, associate director of Program Support and Community Outreach for Schaumburg Township; Tim Seeden, director of Sales and Marketing at Embassy Suites Chicago Schaumburg/Woodfield; Kimberley Nosko, general manager of Embassy Suites Schaumburg; and Kristy Brezinsky, events manager at Schaumburg Business Association, were all in attendance on the final day of the event.

"We couldn't be more thrilled with the results of this event," said Kerry Lavelle, founding partner of Lavelle Law. "We've been hosting this food drive for more than a decade, but I can't remember a year when the event drew more attention or more donations. We're so grateful to the community, our key sponsor, Tony's Fresh Market, and our donation sites whose generosity, time and efforts will help feed so many people in need."
