Schaumburg offering amnesty on some overdue fines

The Schaumburg Police Department is offering an amnesty program for those with overdue parking ticket or other ordinance violation fines predating Dec. 31, 2016.

Under the program, late fees will be waived for those who qualify and pay what they owe by Dec. 31.
