Wauconda Turkey Trot set for Thursday

The 8th annual Wauconda Turkey Trot, featuring a 4-mile professionally timed route around Bangs Lake and a 2-mile family fun run/walk on Main Street to Cook Park and back, will be held Thursday.

The start and finish are on Main Street between Mill Street and Bangs Street. All participants receive a finisher's medal and the 4-mile route has age groups for trophies.
