Celebrate the holiday season with Geneva Commons' tree lighting, ice rink
The recent completion of the major renovation to the Geneva Commons courtyard area, "The Green," provides the ideal setting for an ice-skating rink during the holiday season.
The rink will open on Saturday, Nov. 17, at the outdoor shopping center and operate through Sunday, Jan. 13.
Other holiday attractions include Santa's arrival and annual Christmas tree lighting on Friday, Nov. 23.
"We couldn't be more excited about this year's holiday season," says Cathy Charhut, property manager of Geneva Commons. "We've had a chance to test drive the new gathering area with various events on The Green during the summer and fall, and response from the community has been amazing. It's the perfect spot for an ice-skating rink, and it's such a fun and healthy way to wind down from holiday shopping."

On Friday, Nov. 23, Santa arrives for the Christmas tree lighting for "Light Up the Night" at 5 p.m. Santa visits will be 5:30 to 7 p.m. Enjoy free hot cocoa and other surprises.
