VHHS fall choir concert

The annual Vernon Hills High School choirs fall concert will be at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 8 in the school auditorium, 145 Lakeview Parkway. The performance will feature a range of cultures and languages, from the Venezuelan "gaita" La Paloma, to the Greek folk song Samiotissa, to an arrangement of the well-known Israeli tune Zum Gali, to a rousing male choir Italian song called Viva Tutti. All choir students will combine to sing the German Renaissance tune Ich Will Den Hernn Loben Allezeit. Tickets are $3 for general admission and $2 for students at the door.
