Friends plan fall book sale Nov. 8-11 in Algonquin
The Friends of the Algonquin Area Public Library District will hold its Fall Book Sale Thursday, Nov. 8, through Sunday, Nov. 11, at the Eastgate Branch Library, 115 Eastgate Drive in Algonquin, off Algonquin Road/Route 62, behind the 7-11 convenience store.
The sale will begin with a Preview Day from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 8; $10 entry fee, this day only. The sale continues from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 9; 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 10; and 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 11 (half-price day).
Enjoy light refreshments at the Book Bistro, compliments of the Friends of the Library. You'll also find an incredible collection of puzzles in the Book Bistro.
From an amazing selection of movie and television DVDs to a variety of music CDs, you'll find the perfect additions to your collection. All fiction books are displayed in alphabetical order (by author) and all other categories are organized to make shopping easy. You might find the missing DVD in your favorite series, "coffee table" books for gifts, or the perfect softcover selections for the younger readers in your family.
