A comptroller's qualifications

Would you hire a painter to do plumbing work? Would you hire an artist instead of an attorney to defend you in court? Then why do voters elected unqualified candidates for the job of Illinois comptroller? The comptroller is the state's chief fiscal officer, a duty for an experienced accountant.

Both the Democratic and Republican candidates for comptroller are entrenched in politics and neither of them are accountants. The Democratic candidate has a B.A. in Business Management and is a part of the Chicago political machine, while the Republican candidate has a degree in marketing finance.

Unlike her unqualified career politician opponents, the Libertarian candidate for comptroller, Clair Ball, has her bachelor's degree in Accounting, her master's degree in accounting & finance and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant.

Ball is certified and qualified for the duties of comptroller. Her opponents are not. That should be all you need to know when casting your vote for comptroller this election.
