Mundelein Seeking Input from Businesses for Comprehensive Plan

The Village of Mundelein in partnership with the Mundelein Business Alliance invites the business community to an open discussion/drop-in event about current and future business needs and implementation strategies. This joint planning event will be held on November 8 from 7:30 a.m. - 9 a.m. at the Doubletree Hotel Libertyville-Mundelein.

This discussion will help frame recommendations in Mundelein's Comprehensive Plan, the guiding document for Village programming and expenditures for the next decade or more. Please stop in briefly to check out the potential changes for the updated plan and share your thoughts or sit and stay awhile to engage in a more robust discussion.

If the following questions or other ideas come to mind, please plan to attend this meeting:

• Corridors need upgrading because clients pass through the area?

• Better access to the airport via Metra or other means is needed.

• Employees need a safe path to adjacent businesses for lunch?

• Need extra space for occasional meetings with special requirements?

• Workforce is difficult to find and train?

• Transportation solutions would benefit your business?

• Infrastructure deficiencies are impacting your business?

• What is happening with certain properties throughout the Village?
