Mount Prospect Public Library Receives STEM Grant

Mount Prospect Public Library received a $7,000 grant from the Bosch Community Fund to further support their Tutor.com program, a live, one-on-one online tutoring service.

The online tutoring service supports Mount Prospect students during crucial times; after school or at night, when homework struggles can be frustrating, and during the middle and high-school years, when students often begin making decisions about what subjects interest them and the type of career path they may choose to follow.

The Mount Prospect Public Library's mission is to connect people to information, resources, and opportunities for enrichment and leisure. Additionally, the library provides a book culture through literary knowledge and interactive experiences, such as the Tutor.com program.

The positive impact of this grant and the exceptional work of the Mount Prospect Public Library will benefit the local community for years to come. The Bosch Community Fund believes it's imperative that students have access to high-quality STEM and environmental sustainability education along with engaging hands-on applications for students in the Mount Prospect area.
