Less than free?

I just read in the Daily Herald Jamal Khashoggi's last column.

I wonder if Google will reconsider its agreement with China to censor content available to the Chinese people.

Or, will Twitter and Facebook reconsider their stance on racists like Louis Farrakhan or conservative thought by Dennis Prager.

How far away are we from being less than "free"?
