Warrenville fire causes more than $100,000 in damage
A single-family home on the 30W100 block of Concord Court in Warrenville caught fire Monday night, according to Warrenville Fire Department Lieutenant Matt Banaszek.
No one was home at the time of the fire, Banaszek said.
The fire was reported at 8:06 p.m. When fire crews arrived on the scene, there were flames coming through the roof and a majority of the home was engulfed in fire, according to Banaszek.
The West Chicago and Lisle-Woodridge fire departments assisted the Warrenville department in extinguishing the fire in "moderate time," Banaszek said.
Damages were put at more than $100,000 and the DuPage County Fire Investigation Task Force is on the scene, Banaszek said.
