YMCA Offers Spooktacular Fun at Annual Halloween Party October 21

The North Suburban YMCA invites the community to an afternoon of family fun at its 11th Annual Spooktacular Halloween Party on Sunday, October 21. This year's event offers a wide variety of activities for all age. The party is open to the public from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., with exclusive early access for children with special needs from 1:30 to 2:00 pm.

The NSYMCA Spooktacular features a range of favorite attractions along with new surprises. Young children will enjoy visiting the petting zoo and bounce houses, while brave souls will face frights in a newly re-designed, spookily creative haunted house. New this year is a pumpkin sale providing a wide selection for Halloween decorations, with proceeds supporting YMCA programs.

All ages are invited to show off their creativity in costume contest. Awards will be given out in age groups for the most creative, most spooktacular, and cutest costumes. Guests can also take home souvenirs including art projects, photo booth pictures, and goodies from indoor trick-or-treating.

The Spooktacular Halloween Party is made possible by the generous support of sponsors, including 22nd Century Media, Waterway Carwash, BankFinancial, Coldwell Banker Northbrook, UBS Financial Services - Northbrook Branch, and 94.7 WLS-FM Radio.

"The Spooktacular Party is always a highlight of the year for everyone at the Y," says Kathy Fielding, NSYMCA Vice President of Member Engagement and Marketing. "Our staff, volunteers and sponsors will be pulling out all the stops to make this a fun and memorable day for all our guests. We are looking forward to continuing this great family tradition."

The North Suburban YMCA is located at 2705 Techny Road in Northbrook. Admission to the Spooktacular Halloween Party is free for Y members, $20 per family for non-members. For more information, visit nsymca.org or call 847 272 7250.
