Sole Provider charity needs your help collecting new or lightly used shoes

The Solve Provider charity is providing lightly used and new shoes to students who are not able to obtain them due to financial restraints.

After a few life-changing in cross country and track, Brett Bognar and Brandon Cole believe that all students should be able to experience the wonders of participating in a sport.

Not only is it a good way to keep healthy, but it also creates everlasting bonds with the people around you.

The Solve Provider is accepting donations of all lightly new and used shoes. The shoes then will be donated to Eagles Wing, Lilly's/ Dundee Townships Closet, and PADS of Elgin.

They also collect worn-out shoes which will be donated to Nike's Reuse-a-Shoe foundation that recycles old shoes to be made into tracks.

They have donation boxes at most of the Algonquin-based Community Unit District 300 schools such as Liberty Elementary, Westfield, Jacobs High School, Hampshire High School, Dundee Middle School, and Dundee Crown High School.

There are also collection boxes at Midwest Cheer Elite Illinois, Players Choice Academy, and the Algonquin Area Public Library. You may drop off any shoes at any time!

This charity donation drive continues until May 25, 2019.
