Trucks, Trunks and Treats set for Oct. 13 in Vernon Hills

The Vernon Hills Park District is hosting Trucks, Trunks and Treats from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 13, at the Family Aquatic Center, 635 N. Aspen Drive, Vernon Hills.

Kids can show off their Halloween costumes while walking through the aisles of trucks and receive candy from the operators of each vehicle. A hayride and bounce house are among the other activities. Dogs are welcome. Food will be available for purchase.

The fee is $3. Visit https://www.vhparkdistrict.org/ to register. The event will be canceled in case of inclement weather.
