Stretch of Rollins Road closing for culvert replacement

The Lake County Division of Transportation will close Rollins Road to through traffic from Fairfield Road to Wilson Road between Round Lake Heights and Ingleside starting at 6 a.m. Monday, Oct. 15.

The closure is necessary to replace the Eagle Creek culvert. The road is expected to reopen by the late afternoon of Monday, Oct. 29.

A detour route will take traffic on Fairfield Road to Route 134 to Wilson Road. Local traffic will have access on Rollins Road from Elm Avenue west to Wilson Road and from Grove Avenue east to Fairfield Road.
