It's All About The Paws to host adoption event at annual Scarecrow Fest Oct. 6-7
It's All About The Paws Adoption Event will be Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 6-7, during the annual Scarecrow Fest at Baker Memorial Park in St. Charles. It's All About The Paws started in 2015 when Erika Seibert had a dream of bringing rescues and vendors together in hopes of making a difference.
Three years and four adoption events later, It's All About The Paws has made a difference.
Seibert's passion has always been to help spread love in the world, and It's All About The Paws: Adoption Event offers the opportunity to do so through adoptions, raising money and educating on animal advocacy, animal rights, anti-cruelty products, proper nutritional plans and more.
About 2.4 million healthy adoptable dogs and cats are put down in the U.S. shelters each year. That is approximately one dog or cat every 13 seconds. These animals never get a chance to make it to their forever homes.
Without animal rescues, these animals are looking at rough and possibly short lives. With your donation, you can help put an end to their suffering and help these rescues fight for every animal they possibly can.
All proceeds before and during the event will go to the rescues attending the event. These proceeds significantly help rescues in continuing to save and care for more animals, such as: medical attention, supplies (food, crates, toys, etc.), training, education seminars, spay and neuter programs, vaccine clinics and more. As always, they will start early in raising money for the rescues who will attend.
It's All About The Paws has raised more than $8,000 and more than 50 dogs have been adopted through the rescues that have participated in the adoption event. They want to continue our passion in helping families find their forever furry family member and to continue raising more funds and awareness.
The fourth annual adoption event will be from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 6 and 7, during Scarecrow Fest at Baker Memorial Park, in historic downtown St. Charles.
