Mount Prospect Events Scheduled for Senior Health Month

State Representative David Harris will host a Senior Health Fair on Thursday October 11 from 9 a.m. to noon at the Village Hall Community Room (50 S. Emerson Street, Mount Prospect). The Senior Health Fair will feature many services including flu shots, glucose testing, hearing screening, and 35 presenters from local health agencies.

Additionally, October is Senior Health Month. The Village of Mount Prospect's Human Services Department is hosting a series of weekly events for seniors throughout the month: "50s Plus Breakfast Club" on Thursday, October 4 at 9 a.m., "Tai Chi" on Thursday, October 18 at 2 p.m. and "Music and the Brain" on Thursday, October 25 at noon. These events will take place at Village Hall (50 S. Emerson, Mount Prospect).

"We are committed to Mount Prospect's senior population. Our programming brings meaningful and important resources to seniors in the community so that they can enhance their quality of life," said Julie Kane, Director of Human Services.
