Wait for proof of guilt
Mary Kay Walsh's Sept. 20 comment on the Kavanaugh nomination is a feeble attack on a person's reputation based on nothing but hearsay from somebody we don't even know. This is also a clear example of a prevailing mindset among many of us where the new acceptable norm is "guilty until proven Innocent."
How about a new concept: Let's hear from both sides before pointing guilt or innocence at either one. Wow, where have I seen this before? I think this is the way democracy used to be practiced in this country in the past.
