Lakes d. Wauconda: Keelan Bell had 10 kills, Paule Ceneac added 7 kills and 3 blocks, and the Eagles won 25-14, 23-25, 25-10 to improve to 3-0 in the Northern Lake County Conference.

Lakes (10-4) also received big efforts from Ashley Smith (4 kills, 1 ace, 6 digs), Devinn Bell (4 kills, 22 assists), Abby Vanderwall (15 digs), Kelli Rettig (5 kills, 13 digs, 5 aces), Faith Conway (9 assists) and Sara Smith (3 kills, 3 aces).

Wauconda (6-17, 1-3) got 4 kills apiece from Savannah Johnson and Riley Alrich.

Antioch d. Grant: Cenie Frieson had 11 kills, 3 blocks and 4 digs for the Sequoits, who won 25-13, 26-24 to hike their record to 3-0 in the Northern Lake County.

Katie Vilardi dished out 13 assists for Antioch (11-2-1), which also got contributions from Lily Regnier (3 kills, 2 blocks) and Hannah Benes (8 digs).

Grayslake North d. Round Lake: The Knights won 25-20, 25-15 in Northern Lake County action, as Faith Standerski had 8 digs and Taylor Ebersohl notched 3 blocks.

Grayslake North (9-13, 2-1) was led offensively by Alyssa Gerzel with 5 kills, Emmy Bongiovanni with 4 kills and Abby Cunningham with 8 assists.

Grayslake Central d. North Chicago: The Rams captured a 25-8, 25-4 decision in Northern Lake County action to improve to 15-9 and 2-1.

Emma Henne (5 aces, 3 kills) Taylor Hindman (4 kills) and Sarah Chiapetta (4 aces, 7 assists) led the way for Grayslake Central.

"Very proud of our girls for staying focused tonight and getting a homecoming week win and our 15th win of the season," Rams coach Jason Janczak said. "It was a total team effort tonight."

Glenbrook North d. Vernon Hills: The Cougars lost 25-16, 25-18 to fall to 6-11 and 1-2 in the Central Suburban League North.
