Girls volleyball: Dundee-Crown handles Larkin in 2

Olivia Miller put down 7 kills Wednesday in Dundee-Crown's 25-12, 25-14 win over Larkin.

Claire Muhvic added 5 kills, Makena Wesol had 3 and Hannah Krispin 2. Jenna Brown set 17 assists for the Chargers (2-13) who were led in digs by Natalia Smiech with 8 and Muhvic with 6.

Muhvic served 5 aces, Schmidt fired 4 and Brown 2.

Huntley d. West Chicago: The Red Raiders improved to 8-2 with a 25-16, 25-5 nonconference win Wednesday. Julia Johnson and Loren Alberts led the team in kills with 8, Sarah Zayas served 4 aces, Taylor Jakubowski finished with 26 assists, 3 kills, 6 digs and 2 aces, and Josie Schmitendorf and Emma Konie both had 8 digs.
