District 73 seeks input on superintendent search

Vernon Hills-based Hawthorn Elementary District 73 has scheduled a community engagement day on Monday, Sept. 24, to gather input from constituents regarding a search for a new superintendent.

Parents and members of the general public are invited to meet with executive search consultants BWP & Associates from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the district office, 841 West End Court in Vernon Hills.

Consultants also will meet with teachers, administrators, board members, staff and others throughout the day. An anonymous online survey for feedback will be available from Sept. 24 to Oct. 4 at www.hawthorn73.org.

A profile will be developed and the consultants and board members will work to find a match.
