Take part in Lakewood master plan

Lake County Forest Preserve District users are invited to take a 10-minute survey as part of the master planning process for Lakewood Forest Preserve near Wauconda. The master plan will evaluate the existing conditions and uses of the preserve and identify potential recreation, education and conservation improvements. Current uses and facilities have been evaluated and will be considered when developing a conceptual design plan to be complete by early spring 2019 with approval expected next summer.
