Four retail leases signed

Oakbrook Terrace-based Mid-America Asset Management Inc., announced that the firm recently secured four leasing transactions on behalf of shopping centers in the Chicagoland area. They include:

• Lululemon Athletica signed a lease for 3,162 square feet at Market Square at the southwest corner of Western and Westminster avenues in Lake Forest. The athletic wear retailer is slated to open this fall. Market Square is a 54,250-square-foot center that includes Starbucks, Williams-Sonoma and Evereve.

• Illinois Urgent Care has signed a lease for 3,000 square feet at Washington Park Plaza at the corner of Halstead Street and Maple Avenue in Homewood. The 238,024-square-foot center is anchored by TJ Maxx, Ross Dress for Less, Best Buy and Petco.

• Learning Express Toys has signed a lease for 2,543 square feet at Geneva Commons Randall and Bricher roads in Geneva. The 437,546-square-foot center has a strong national tenant lineup including Crate & Barrel, Barnes & Noble, Forever 21, Pottery Barn, Tilly's and Dick's Sporting Goods. This location is expected to open in early 2019.

• Verizon has signed a lease for 2,400 square feet at the Sheridan Village at Sheridan Road and Lake Avenue in Peoria. The 310,094-square-foot center is anchored by Hy-Vee and Planet Fitness. This location is expected to open fall of 2018. Mid-America Vice President Barb Kading and Vice President Paige Schiesser represented the landlord.
