Girls volleyball: Waubonsie Valley tops Batavia
Batavia dropped a 26-24, 25-15 decision at Waubonsie Valley on Wednesday to fall to 2-5 on the season.
Maddy Boyer led Batavia with 7 kills and 2 aces. Lauren Haefer added 6 kills, 2 aces and 6 digs, and Ali Northrop chipped in a block and 2 kills.
Batavia returns to action Saturday at the Jacobs Invite.
