Prairie Center Welcomes '70s FM and Petty Kings

The Al Larson Prairie Center for the Arts welcomes The Petty Kings & '70s FM on Saturday, September 22, 2018 at 7:30 p.m.

Get ready to step into a music time machine back to the days of feathered hair, mood rings, and album oriented rock. '70s FM, featuring Chicago's best session players and singers, is a multimedia tribute to the hits of the decade by artists including Bruce Springsteen, Steve Miller, The Doobie Brothers, Carly Simon, Aerosmith and others.

To round out the evening, The Petty Kings, led by Bob Vasilou, will pay tribute to the musical legend Tom Petty. The Petty Kings will faithfully remind us how Petty defined rock and roll with hits like "American Girl," "Free Fallin'," "Won't Back Down," "Breakdown," "The Waiting," and so many more.

Don't miss this remarkable double-bill produced by Soundtracks of a Generation exclusively for the Prairie Center. Tickets for 70s FM and Petty Kings are $22 ($20 for seniors and students) and can be purchased online at www.prairiecenter.org or by calling 847-895-3600.

The Al Larson Prairie Center for the Arts is located at 201 Schaumburg Ct., Schaumburg, IL.
