Tuesday Morning Quarterback
Name: Patrick Panasiuk
School: Lake Park
Year: Senior
Best thing about being an offensive lineman: Being able to protect your quarterback, protect your running back. That's for me. That's what it's all about.
Worst thing about being an offensive lineman: The lack of fame, like when the running back runs for 250 yards. But that's our job. We're going to walk off the field after a "W" just knowing we were the reason why.
Don't tell my coach that: Waking up at 5:30 in the morning isn't always the best thing to do. I'm not that early of a morning guy.
If I could change one thing about football: I'd like it to be more physical. It's the game and that's how you've got to play it.
Team not on our schedule I wish we could play: I wish we could go back to last year and play Neuqua again.
How I'll celebrate if I score a TD: I'd do the Gronk spike. No dance or anything. Just do the Gronk spike and walk off the field.
Something about me that would surprise you: I'm a real outdoors guy. I'm not really into sitting behind a computer playing video games.
Other sports I play: I used to do track. I think coming back in the weight room to help the football team has been better for me.
Favorite actor: Adam Sandler. I love all that stuff.
Favorite actress: I'd say Megan Fox because of the Transformer movies.
Favorite athlete: It's probably Clay Matthews, but I don't really watch NFL much anymore. I'm more interested in college football with my brothers (Mike and Jacub) playing at Michigan State.
Favorite musician: I'm a big country fan. Probably Toby Keith.
The stat
Montini, Wheaton Warrenville South and Willowbrook beat their Week 1 opponents by a combined margin of 119-0.
