Girls volleyball: South Elgin beats Schaumburg in opener

Hayley Fisher had 10 kills Friday night to lead the South Elgin girls volleyball team to a 25-8, 25-21 nonconference win over Schaumburg in the Storm's season opener.

McKayla Geraghty added 6 kills and 5 digs for the Storm while Anna Skrzpchak (6 digs), Emily Wellman (6 digs) and Kendal Richardson (11 assists) also contributed.
