Celebrate peace, love and cycling at free fitness class

Grab your tie-dye shirt, mod sunglasses, groovy bell-bottoms and head to Schaumburg Park District.

The District's free 1960s-themed cycling class is set for 6 to 7 p.m. Aug. 13, at the Community Recreation Center, 505 N. Springinsguth Road. The class will feature fab music and an exciting bike ride. Retro wear is encouraged.

"We thought this would be a great way to give patrons a chance to sample our cycling classes while enjoying a cool theme," said Charissa Tischhauser, fitness supervisor. "We're looking forward to an evening of fitness and far-out fun."
