Visitors to Lisle's Morton Arboretum this weekend got a chance to experience all kinds of cultures - often within a few steps of each other.
First, of course, there were the giant trolls that remind everyone of Scandinavia.
And then there was the final day of the Destination Asia festival, complete with sumo wrestlers (not quite as big as the trolls, but close), origami folding, cricket lessons, Japanese taiko drumming, Bollywood dancing, a Japanese lantern display and more.
All in all, 10 countries were represented with live performances.
For those visitors who didn't want to lose sight of trees at the arboretum, there were plenty of chances to view the outdoor museum's collections from China, Japan and Korea and to learn about its conservation efforts.
